Grimaldi Lines at the Port of de Barcelona

The Italian shipping line inaugurated a new ferry terminal in the port of the Catalan capital.
Located on the Costa dock, the company Grimaldi has invested 20 million euros in developing an infrastructure with the capacity to deal with 3,600 passengers and which connects Barcelona with Rome, Livorno, Sardinia and Tangier by sea. Servoclima played a key role in the development of the air conditioning facilities in the three-floor building, covering a total surface area of 3,750 square metres. The Grimaldi Group’s investment has helped to bring the port closer to the city and underlines the strategic importance that Barcelona holds in the network of Sea Highways that the Group has been developing throughout the Mediterranean over the last few years, all of which points to a bright future in a key sector in terms of both the economy and tourism.
