NEW AREA MANAGER Servoclima, fulfilling its desire to offer a better service every day and attend to their clients’ needs in a more agile and closer manner, has appointed Alberto Huster as Area Manager to reinforce the Commercial Department on the national level and boost exports. His years of experience in the sector in similar places vouch for Alberto’s ability to carry out the proposed objectives, among which is the desire to increase the company’s level of internationalisation.

DAMEN shipyards (HOLLAND) Servoclima is supplying air-conditioning units for the 4 new vessels being built by DAMEN shipyards in Holland. The naval sector is extremely particular when drafting its projects, where several differential factors must be taken into account, obviously and very importantly, the marine environment, where it is necessary to protect all elements and products against corrosion.

SERVOCLIMA at the BIG5 DUBAI (UAE) The Big 5 International Building & Construction Show, which takes place in Dubai, is the main international building and construction show for the whole of the Middle East, and it is a big opportunity for business between key contacts of all the main exporting countries of the world and important local developers, contractors, importers and distributors. The number of exhibitors grows every year and SERVOCLIMA participated in this edition for the first time, showing its AHU certified EUROVENT hosted on Forest United Middle East stand. It has been a great pleasure for us joining this event.

Wikinger (GERMANY- BALTIC SEA) Iberdrola’s first marine wind farm. The company, which will invest 1,600 M EUR in this project, is one of the world leaders in wind farms, and this will be its first one in Germany, which will be the largest deep-water installation in the world, at a depth of more than 40 metres.

MARKET OF SANT ADRIÀ The integral renovation of the Market of Sant Adrià del Besos is in progress, a project for which Servoclima has supplied Air Handling Units of the modular and fan coil type. The work has a budget of 44 M EUR, part of which will be paid by the dealers of the stalls and the rest by the awardee of the renovation and exploitation of the commercial space, under concession.

SERVOCLIMA EUROVENT CERTIFIED Servoclima becomes first Spanish Air Handling Units manufacturer obtaining the EUROVENT CERTIFIED. After testing its selection software and the ULTRA units, Servoclima manages the seal that certifies the performances of this products according to European and international standards and the correspondence between the design specification and the final ones.

New Funeral Home in L’Hospitalet The new Funeral service building of l’Hospitalet Ronda will come into operation in the last quarter of this year. Its construction is part of the development of the Remunta sector, an action that affects around 10 hectares of land for residential, commercial and facilities uses. The new Funeral service building offers 6,800 m², distributed on two underground floors, a ground floor and two stories above it, is outstanding for its curved facades with views of a substantial part of L’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat.

Campus Universitari Mar in Barcelona The Edifici Docent (Lecture building) of Mar Este University Campus was opened this month, after finishing the second phase of rehabilitation work on the Dr. Aiguader building, shared by PSMAR, UAB and UPF. This final phase has provided classrooms, seminar rooms, computer rooms and a Hall of Degrees, clinical training, anatomy and mechanotherapy classrooms as well as a cafeteria, and has also reformed the corporate auditorium of the MAR Health Park, the José Marull Hall.

Animal house VHIO-CELLEX The Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), a benchmark in cancer research, moved its headquarters to a new seven-storey, 7,000 m² building, enabling it to carry out its research in a single area. This building offers more adequate, larger and pioneering installations. Servoclima collaborated in the climtization of this new building and again collaborates in the climtization of the animal house in the underground floor and which will serve both the VHIO and the Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR).

SENOBLE IBERICA’s new factory (Toledo) Senoble Ibérica’s new factory is located the old National Cattle Market of Talavera de la Reina. This is a subsidiary of the outstanding French producer of dairy products used for yoghurts and other dairy-based desserts. This project, consisting of about 25,000 m² of installations with 5 production lines in its first phase, has been equipped with the latest technological developments in processes and packaging and a design that ensures high energy efficiency and the maximum respect for the environment.
